I had an interview on Tuesday for a position in a critical care unit at hospital X. My interviewers told me I was impressive, but that they weren’t going to hire a new grad for the ICU; furthermore that I should look into med-surg. That would have been nice to know before going all the way down there for a position that I stood no chance of getting and having my hopes moderately high....
